“If I had a child who wanted to be a teacher, I would bid him Godspeed as if he were going to a war. For indeed the war against prejudice, greed and ignorance is eternal, and those who dedicate themselves to it give their lives no less because they may live to see some fraction of the battle won.” ~James Hilton
“Draw yourself up to your full height, look anybody squarely in the eye, and say, I am a teacher.” ~William G. Carr

Characteristics of a Global Classroom
How can you make your classroom a global community?
Global perspective is integrated throughout the school curriculum not just in social studies.
I will think of the best thing to do to enhance the global perspective. I will integrate in the entire subject in the curriculum the global perspective.
International focus courses are developed in areas such as anthropology, regional history, geography, global or world studies, foreign language study, world religions, ethnic group studies, international business, music, and art.
I will ask my students to collect or make an research about in this topic. To enhance their social and cultural ability.
Internationalizing instructional methods and materials emphasize intercultural interaction and culturally appropriate methods of instruction and assessment. Partnership programs with other schools and countries can also be developed.
I will provide more challenging activities for my students for them to enhance their ability. Like a survey, investigation or research. And give my student to deal with other and experience different cultures and beliefs.
Encouraging international travel as an important part of one’s education
Using instructional materials I will used pictures, videos and other materials that gives my student idea in such topic or discussions. I will relate the things that we discuss in the real situation or in the present time.
